macapps.lol is a paid leaderboard for macOS software. It is not an App Store chart, a review site, or an ASO trick.
What counts as a Mac app
Mac App Store URLs must resolve to mac-software in Apple’s catalog. Direct downloads can be a .dmg, .pkg, a Mac-named zip, GitHub Releases, or a download URL that clearly targets macOS — ?platform=macos is enough. iPhone, iPad, Android, Chrome extensions, and generic websites are rejected.
Rank is money
Rank is the lifetime total paid for that app. Paying again with the same App Store ID or download URL adds to the existing total. There is no decay and no featured slot besides #1.
Payments
Checkout runs through Polar. You are redirected, you pay, you land back here. The listing is recorded when Polar marks the order paid, or when you return from a succeeded checkout.

A row on this page, a click-through to your App Store or download URL, and whatever attention the domain attracts. No install guarantees. No refund of rank if someone outbids you — bid again.
